Middle School Program
 The foundation of the Middle School philosophy is a commitment to meeting the unique cognitive, social, emotional and physical needs of young adolescents.
Our program is designed to promote students’ appreciation and desire for learning. Our teachers reinforce Lower School beginnings and prepare students for the challenges of Upper School. Students are given the opportunity to participate in a full range of academic, fine art, physical education and technology courses. We strive to make the curriculum challenging and meaningful for each student.
We establish a school climate that promotes the development of students’ moral and ethical character. We work to develop each student’s respect for self and others. We believe that mutual caring and service to school and community are essential for the positive development of our students.
The Middle School Program is committed to the meaningful participation of parents and community members in the development and implementation of the school’s programs. Vitally important to the work of our school is the establishment of effective partnership with students, their families, faculty, and community organizations. |
