Early Years - Pre-Kindergarten 3
We are off to a great New Year. Now the school months seem to fly by. Our “Threes” have a lot of work ahead of them.
January is a month of kindness in remembrance of Martin Luther King our special person. We will also learn about our presidents.
In math, we will continue on with pattern and number recognition, the concept of same and different, and an introduction to opposites.
Our phonics this month takes us through the recognition of letters ‘T’ and ‘R’. We will be quickly graduating to our “B” Code Book. In addition, we are attempting to write the letters in our name. Boy, do we have a lot of fun with letters and sounds!
I am happy to announce that we have raised about $850.00 for our turtles with “Boo Boo’s”. WOW! I am so very proud. The Marine Life Center is very grateful. We are going to be in their newsletter, and we will have a beautiful Loggerhead plaque on the new walls of their newest building. Thank you, thank you to the wonderful parents of Pre K 3 for your generous hearts!
