PREK-4 SOCIAL STUDIES

The PreK-4 students learn social studies skills through an understanding of who they are, where they live, and the community around them. Stories, role-playing, songs, and creative activities are an important part of their learning.

Objectives:

• To gain an understanding of themselves in various roles
• To explore neighborhoods and communities
• To explore types of transportation
• To learn about famous Americans and our country’s symbols
