Lower School - Third Grade
The third grade class is making the most of this important transitional year.
In science, they have already begun learning about organisms and their life cycles. They will soon be learning about 'How Things Move" and simple machines.
In social studies, the third graders have learned about the geography, climate, and natural resources of the United States. Their next social studies lessons will focus on the different regions of the United States.
Third graders have been strengthening their reading and comprehension skills. They have read many interesting stories on friendship. They will also be reading about “City Wild Life".
In math, they have completed a review of addition and subtraction. They will be moving on to reading the clock and elapsed time. Soon they will be working with money and learning how to make change.
